  • Undertones of white pepper and oatmeal raisin cookies hint at the pot still character at its core, but the Marsala cask is the star of the show here. And deserving of a bow.

  • A well-balanced whiskey that highlights both the cask and the spirit. The Marsala influence takes the lead without overwhelming the softer character of Irish pot still whiskey. A fantastic pour that works beautifully neat in any season.

  • Nose:

Bright yet luxurious. Orange zest leads into pecan pie, sticky dates, and dried figs, layered with distinct oak. Sticky toffee pudding lingers in the background with a faint suggestion of damp autumn leaves.

  • Taste:

Wood spice leads the palate, with the dried fruit from the nose carrying through clearly. The texture is creamy, layered with a treacle-like sweetness and a gentle touch of vanilla.

  • Finish:

The finish is seni-sweet, with soft vanilla note lingering in the last act.

  • Overall:

A well-balanced whiskey that highlights both the cask and the spirit. The Marsala influence takes the lead without overwhelming the softer character of Irish pot still whiskey. A fantastic pour that works beautifully neat in any season.
