Powdered jelly donut, brown sugar, caramel, raisin, fig, tobacco, cinnamon.
Tasty on the palate. Soft oak, tobacco, blackberry, raisin, a little clove, toasted marshmallow, crème brûlée.
Clove and barrel char lead the finish, followed by tobacco, blackberry jam, butterscotch and raisin.
This is a pleasant, very well-balanced bourbon. The finishes work well with the distillate. It isn't mind-blowing, but it’s tasty and very easy to sip.
