  • Nose:

Light grain but full of honey, red fruits, a pinch of pepper and sweet buttercream.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel. Not wildly rich, but there is quite a bit more going on here compared to a typical Dewar's teenage expression. Sweet buttercream, light honey, toffee and a splash of vanilla, plus currants, raspberry and strawberry.

  • Finish:

Long. The pour peaks here. The finish sticks around for a good bit and is a satisfying blend of sweet and fruity, leaving the pepper and spice behind to focus on sweet cream, honey and berries.

  • Overall:

This is an easy sipper and an interesting one at that.
