House Review
  • Nose:

    Graham cracker, orange peel, nutmeg, pepper, cranberry.

  • Taste:

    Light mouthfeel. The flavor profile is fairly grainy with honey, leather and char. It’s pleasant!

  • Finish:

    The finish is medium in length and savory with some complexity. A touch of barbecue smoke, brown sugar, ash and a pop of citrus.

  • Overall:

    Pleasant, light, inoffensive sipper. Doesn’t deliver a crazy amount of complexity, but it’s a solid light bottle that's very easy to sip — and while it doesn't distinguish itself from other mid-shelf single malts, maybe there's nothing wrong with that. Honestly, it's probably well-suited for Crown Royal's target demographic.
