Código 1530 Mezcal Ancestral is made from 100% papalome maguey sourced from Oaxaca. The agave is hand-mashed, cooked in an earthen oven and fermented in hides. It is distilled in clay pots using traditional methods by master distillers from the San Juan del Rio region. The production involves no machines or automation and does not include additives, chemicals, sweeteners or coloring, per the brand.
