Catalan, If You Can (SMWS 76.159) is a single-cask, single malt Scotch whisky distilled at Mortlach Distillery in Speyside in 2007 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. As with SMWS releases, it is bottled at cask strength without chill filtration. The name was assigned by SMWS as part of its tradition of giving each bottling a distinctive descriptive title. According to the SMWS tasting notes, it features nuts, sweet red wine, treacle-infused buttermilk, steak, rosemary, Oloroso sherry, crema catalana and dark chocolate.
