  • It’s by no means the worst spiced rum I’ve had, and I do feel like the product deserves some credit for its boldness and originality, but at the same time it feels like Canerock is trapped between potential niches where it might be appreciated.

  • Not for me this, this rum is artificial, syrupy and loaded with sugars, flavors and the essence of a wide pallet of flavorings.

  • Nose:

Terribly sweet. Brown sugar, nougat, cookie dough, raisins and milk chocolate chips. Cloying.

  • Taste:

Sweet and viscous, it’s like cookie dough on the palate, syrupy and lacking in complexity. Tasted fake and loaded with cocoa, dough, caramel and nougat. Milk chocolate on the back palate.

  • Finish:

Root beer candies, chocolate chips, cocoa, cookie dough and syrupy sweetness.

  • Overall:

Not for me this, this rum is artificial, syrupy and loaded with sugars, flavors and the essence of a wide pallet of flavorings.
