Positioned as a holiday ready-to-drink cocktail, this "Elf"-themed release from the viral BuzzBallz brand. According to the label it contains "premium vodka with other than standard orange wine and natural flavors." Each 200-milliliter ball contains 15% ABV and costs $3.99.

The nose is pure maple syrup -- super sweet.
Very sweet. Once again, it's straight-up maple syrup. Vodka adds mouthfeel and some background ethanol, but all and all this is an uber-sweet maple syrup bomb. Sort of reminiscent of a White Russian were you to make a version with maple cream — only much sweeter.
Ethanol and maple syrup take turns on the finish, which again is sticky sweet.
Fairly boozy and super sweet, this is not my cup (ball?) of tea, but I don't think spirits critics are exactly the target audience for BuzzBallz. It accomplishes its goal: tastes like boozy maple syrup in a great novelty package perfect for holiday gifting. If someone in your life has a sweet tooth to the point that they identify with Buddy The Elf (and loves the movie), this ought to be be the perfect gift.
