A subtle, intriguing thread of gin botanicals (especially citrus peel) weaves its way through the palate. Otherwise, the smoke and fruit keep your attention.
It’s not exactly one of these easy drams that you may sip without even thinking about them. Again, it’s got some personality. Very clean distillation, would probably go very well with oysters.

House Review
Nose:
Smoke and vanilla, custard and meringue, lemon and heavy cream. Really interesting nose and I like how the smoke and sweet mingle among one another
Taste:
Sweet, creamy vanilla. Fruit snacks. Lemon pie. Smoke kicks in swiftly with a healthy dose of laddie brine. Icing follows. Really funky balance of dessert and smoke.
Finish:
Medium and smokey. The smoke really settles in here and the classic Bruichladdich bbq bacon notes strike as well. Theres some sweet here as well but its mostly a smoke fest.
Overall:
This is a really unique dram and I like it a lot. This is one expression I wish had not gone away. The nose is all smoke and the palate is all sweets and fruit and it continues to keep me guessing.
