  • Nose:

Big vanilla, syrupy stewed fruits. Bright wine notes, vibrant raspberry and strawberry notes. Then the smoke shows up to the party. Smokey, ashy, BBQ forward smoke boasting some brine and pepper also.

  • Taste:

Thick, oily, rich. The viscosity is impressive. The heat is there - but so is the ABV. The vanilla leads the pack, quickly followed by punishing smoke and brine. Earthy minearility, rich smoke and faint meaty bbq. Red berries linger, then the stewed fruity and juicy wine notes come in.

  • Finish:

Long, hot, ashy, smoky, earthy. The berries blend nicely. Its like a rich dark chocolate covered cherry, thats smoked big time.

  • Overall:

Id like a time machine, because Id like a whole lot more of this, minus the mortgage I would need now to get it.
