Borders While We Wait is a Highland single grain Scotch whisky released by R&B Distillers as a preview of the company’s planned Borders distillery. Produced from a mash bill of 50% wheat and 50% malted barley sourced from a Highland distillery, the whisky is matured in American oak before finishing in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at a cask strength 51.7% ABV with natural color and no chill filtration, the expression was created while construction of the Borders distillery is completed.
