Bladnoch 8 Year Old is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky produced at Bladnoch Distillery, Scotland's southernmost distillery, located near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Part of the Galloway Collection, it is double matured in American oak red wine casks under the direction of Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage, yielding notes of strawberry jam, polished oak and nutmeg, per the brand. It is bottled at 46.7% ABV, non-chill filtered with natural color, and retails for around $50.
