  • I must say this is a solid pour that shows a good deal of balance. Though the flavor profile doesn’t bowl me over, it’s the harmonious blend of flavor along with a rich texture and a lengthy finish that make this one truly enjoyable

  • An absolute banger of a batch, this release is up there with the greats and recent hits in the line. Fans of flavorful bourbon and great complexity without having to turn up the ABV to blistering volumes will delight in this dessert forward batch that carries plenty of enticing fruit notes when you stop to look for them.

  • Nose:

Floral and tannin forward, there's plenty going on in the nose alone. Sweet honey, a touch of lemon peel and toffee. Not a sign of ethanol or a prickle of heat, rich and enticing.

  • Taste:

Rich texture on the palate - the proof carries really well, with plenty of flavor along for the ride. Toffee, baking spice, nougat and a creme brulee character blend nicely with pralines, apple pie, cherry cordial and a bold, buttery back palate.

  • Finish:

Rich and dessert forward on the finish once more, rich brown butter, maple candies, honeydew, cherry cordial candies and bourbon balls see this one out.

  • Overall:

An absolute banger of a batch, this release is up there with the greats and recent hits in the line. Fans of flavorful bourbon and great complexity without having to turn up the ABV to blistering volumes will delight in this dessert forward batch that carries plenty of enticing fruit notes when you stop to look for them.
