Heavy, phenolic, ashy and loaded with peat, this batch is perhaps the most vibrant yet. Ash, lemon, butter cream, some buttery pastry, phenolic maritime peat with a good deal of burning wood.
Moderate palate, plenty of vanilla, honey, butter scotch, almond, ashy peat, minerality and maritime salinity.
Long finish, honey and butter, toffee and some minerality. Burning wood, a touch of phenolic peat.
Overall, this batch is a pleasant upgrade from batches before it, dialing up minerality, peat and tons of sweetness.
