Anty Gin, created by the U.K.-based Cambridge Distillery in collaboration with Nordic cuisine pioneers, is marketed as the world’s first insect-based gin. It is made using wild botanicals like wood avens, nettle and alexander seeds, and is blended with formic acid from 62 red wood ants. Each botanical is distilled individually. A 700ml bottle retails for around £220 ($286).
