21 Years Old
First released in September 2026, Aberlour 21 Year Old is an annual release and a permanent addition to the Speyside distillery's range. It is matured in a combination of American oak and Oloroso sherry casks — Aberlour's classic double cask maturation — and bottled at 48% ABV. Master Distiller Emeritus Graeme Cruickshank oversaw the blend. The first batch totals just over 4,800 bottles and is priced at €270 ($300). It is available at select retailers worldwide, including Europe, Asia, travel retail and the United States. Aberlour was founded in 1879 and is owned by Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky arm of Pernod Ricard.

The nose is rich, nutty and beautiful: chestnut, brioche, blueberries, cinnamon, cheesecake.
Lovely, warm palate. Cinnamon, nutmeg, pecan roll, apricot, dark chocolate, cherry, tobacco, pear. Two drops of water accentuates notes of orange peel and candied ginger.
The finish leads with almonds and maple, transitioning into cocoa, espresso, cinnamon and pepper.
A delicious, nuanced single malt. It’s full of maltiness, breadiness, nuttiness, baking spice and chocolate. Spectacular release from Aberlour.
