On Tuesday, Penelope Bourbon announced the release of its first bottled cocktail, the Peach Old Fashioned, marking the brand’s entry into the growing ready-to-drink market. The product blends Penelope’s straight bourbon and rye whiskeys with peach bitters and maple syrup, offering a twist on the classic Old Fashioned.

Bottled at 80 proof, the Peach Old Fashioned is packaged in a 750mL white matte bottle with peach-colored lettering. The suggested retail price starts at $29.99.

“We handpicked the bourbon and rye we used, along with the premium ingredients, to craft a modern take on an iconic classic,” said Michael Paladini, Penelope Bourbon founder and vice president of strategy for MGP Ingredients. “We think this will be a go-to for anyone looking for a delicious old fashioned at a great price.”

Penelope describes the cocktail as having aromas of dark cherry and vanilla, with flavors of allspice, peach, and fig, finishing with caramel syrup and candied ginger spice.

The Peach Old Fashioned is the first in a planned series of ready-to-pour releases from Penelope Bourbon. The brand, founded in 2018, has gained recognition for its blended bourbon and rye whiskey expressions, winning various industry awards.
