Jack Daniel’s Debuts New Zingy Canned Cocktail Flavor That’s ‘Perfect for Any Occasion’

On Thursday, Jack Daniel’s unveiled the latest flavor within the brand’s canned cocktail series: Jack & Ginger Ale. The cocktail has an ABV of 7%, and a 4-pack hosts a suggested retail price of $12.99.
“On the heels of our popular Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola canned cocktail release, we’re thrilled to unveil yet another of the world’s most popular bar calls in an easy-to-drink and convenient format,” Jack Daniel’s RTD Brand Director Dallas Cheatham said in a news release. “We’re excited to continue to expand what is the fastest growing spirits category and offer our friends a new RTD we believe is perfect for any occasion.”
Jack Daniel’s describes its latest ready-to-drink cocktail as “smooth and balanced” with “refreshing notes of tangy ginger” that complement the “bold and distinct flavor of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.”
The brand’s canned cocktail lineup is fairly diverse and features expressions like Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Jack Honey & Lemonade in addition to the Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola line. The brand’s Country Cocktails Line includes flavors like Southern Peach, Southern Citrus, Downhome Punch and Berry Punch.
On the whiskey front, Jack Daniel’s kicked off 2024 with two releases in February: a 10-year and 12-year release within the brand’s Aged Series. Jack Daniel’s aged series started in 2021, and the brand aimed to create modern whiskeys that “simultaneously capture the essence” of what Jasper “Jack” Daniel made over a century ago.
The 12-year-old whiskey clocks in at 107 proof and the 10-year-old whiskey was bottled at a slightly lower 97 proof. Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old hosts a suggested retail price of $84.99 and Jack Daniel’s 12 Year Old hosts a suggested retail price of $94.99.
These limited releases will be tough to find now — at least around their suggested prices — as in previous years they have flown off the shelves.
