In honor of Black History Month, we wanted to give a special shoutout to some of the Black-owned bars and restaurants with stellar liquor programs across the United States.

Whether you’re looking for classic cocktails with farm-to-table offerings, a stiff drink at a jazz bar or delicious Ethiopian food with imported beers to match, we’ve gone ahead and scoured Yelp and TripAdvisor for some of the best-reviewed Black-owned bars in each state. The following list includes some of the most buzzed-about Black-owned bars and restaurants in the country!
