First T8ke: Whiskey Critic Tastes 2023 Michter’s Barrel Proof Toasted Rye

In the latest video on the Whiskey Raiders YouTube channel, Chief Spirits Critic Jay West, aka T8ke, tastes the 2023 release of Michter’s Barrel Proof Toasted Rye.

First released in 2014, this is one of those toasted whiskeys Michter’s is so well known for. To make this whiskey, Michte’rs takes barrels of its US*1 rye and moves the whiskey into a second barrel that has been toasted (rather than charred).
