M&H Apex Terroir Dead Sea is an Israeli single malt whisky made at the M&H Distillery in Tel Aviv. It was matured in oak casks at the Dead Sea, about 351 meters below sea level, where an angel's share of around 25% per year is reported. It is non-chill filtered, bottled at 57.4% ABV in a run of 5,609 bottles and sells for roughly $125 to $130 in the U.S.

  • A combination of gentle fruits, spices and vanilla. Initially a short appearance of apples, pears, and the like. Then notes of breakfast tea, cinnamon and fennel, but also liquorice.
