Glenfiddich Select Cask is a no-age-statement Speyside single malt Scotch whisky produced at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown and bottled by William Grant & Sons. It is made from 100% malted barley, matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, European oak and California red wine casks, then married using Glenfiddich's Solera Vat system. Released in 2013 as a global travel retail exclusive and bottled at 40% ABV, it is typically priced around $60-100 for a 1-liter bottle.
Think of hyacinth, ultra-fresh William pear, light barley, and grass. Zesty, clean and light, and ridiculously drinkable with a silky feel in the middle of the tongue.
