Castle & Key Cask Finish Series Experimental Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Extra Old Haitian Rhum Casks is produced at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It uses a mashbill of 63% rye, 17% corn and 20% malted barley, aged in new oak then finished for 18 months in extra old Haitian rhum casks. It's bottled at cask strength of 58.05% ABV and retails for around $64.99.

  • The palate is similarly vegetal and spicy, almost like a boozy carrot cake with plenty of ginger mixed with a sprinkle of Italian herb spice mix.
