Old Elk Sour Mash Reserve is made at Old Elk Distillery in Fort Collins, Colorado by Master Distiller Greg Metze. It uses their award-winning high-malt mash bill of 51% corn, 34% malted barley and 15% rye, with experimentation using a unique yeast strain in the sour mash process. It is aged for 6 years and bottled at 52.5% ABV, selling for around $99-100.
