Whiskey Washback Does Dallas in Style With Penultimate Event of 2024

Whiskey Washback dazzled Dallas, Texas, on Oct. 25. The touring whiskey festival wowed Texans with whiskeys galore and delicious food.
Guests enjoyed raw oysters while sipping scotch and listening to musical tributes to bands like Foreigner and Lou Gramm performed by The Jukebox Heroes. No Texas event would be complete without some barbecue, and Pitmaster Flatrock Smokehouse BBQ and Crossbuck BBQ served attendees smoked meats like black molasses pulled pork.
Whiskey Washback’s sister event, Arte Agave, hosts similar festivals for the tequila and mezcal enthusiasts out there. 2024 has been an incredible year for Bottle Raiders because, in addition to acquiring these two events, the spirits media destination launched an app in September that gives spirits enthusiasts access to our extensive collection of aggregated reviews via artificial intelligence.
It’s like having an access to every spirits critic that ever existed in the palm of your hand. Bottle Raiders was on hand at the festival promoting the app so guests could learn how to use it in real time.

Whiskey Washback: Where Local Cuisine and Crafts Come to Shine

In addition to celebrating all things whiskey, Texas barbecue was definitely the main draw from a culinary standpoint at Whiskey Washback Dallas.
Pitmaster Flatrock Smokehouse BBQ and Crossbuck BBQ brought out all the goods. Seafood fans could enjoy East Coast Oysters on the half shell from Rex’s Seafood and shrimp and grits shooters from Chef T White.
Main Squeeze Lemonade busted out fresh squeezed lemonade — and if guests were feeling frisky, they could spike it with some bourbon.
If you had a sweet tooth, Mama Dee’s brought its Texas Whiskey Cakes to Whiskey Washback, which were laced with a kiss of Texas wheated bourbon. Lastly, folks who really wanted some culinary decadence could enjoy chicken and waffles from Maple Street Biscuit Company.

Folks could purchase hand-crafted goods made from whiskey barrels from Buena Vida Designs, and those interested in supporting deployed American service members could donate to HeroBox.
T Rex Pickles offered pickles and picklebacks to those in attendance, and the NFL player Ken Hamlin was on hand showcasing his cigar brand.
