Tamdhu Debuts ‘Year of the Snake’ Scotch for 2025

Tamdhu

On Wednesday, Speyside whisky brand Tamdhu announced the release of a special scotch for the new year: Tamdhu Year of the Snake 2025.

Bottled at 58.9%, this whisky was aged in oloroso sherry casks, a hallmark of Tamdhu. It is available exclusively at Total Wine & More locations with a suggested retail price of $88.99.

According to the brand, The snake represents “Tamdhu’s ethos of evolution and craftsmanship, symbolizing rebirth and transformation, making this limited edition a meaningful gift or standout addition to any collection.”

We last heard from Tamdhu in May, when it released two single mat whiskies ahead of the Spirit of Speyside Festival: Dalbeallie Dram VII and Dedication Society Single Cask Vintage 2003. The first of the two expressions was dedicated to the historic Dalbeallie train station, which was built in 1899.
