The Spirits Business reported on Friday that Glenmorangie has rolled out the latest release within its Cadboll Estate Series. The whisky hosts an ABV of 43% and a suggested retail price of £76 ($97).

Glenmorangie Cadboll Estate is sourced from barley that was harvested in 2007 and spent 15 years aging in American white oak casks that were air-dried and “seasoned with bourbon,” according to the outlet. Glenmorangie claims the casks amplify the creamy nature of the final scotch whisky.

“Grown in just eight fields near the Glenmorangie Distillery, Cadboll barley brings our spirit even more creaminess,” Glemorangie Director of Whisky Creation Dr. Bill Lumsden said, according to The Spirits Business. “To accentuate its incredible softness, we aged the fourth batch release of Glenmorangie The Cadboll Estate in our renowned designer casks. Bespoke from field to glass, this 15-year-old single-estate whisky is alive with rich, silky flavors. Honeyed aromas of apricots and pears, and tastes of butter candy, orange and melon gives whisky lovers a delicious taste of our Highland homeland, wherever in the world they happen to be.”

Glenmorangie describes the latest Cadboll Estate release as a “beautifully aromatic” whisky that is rich and textured from the bourbon casks.

In July, Glenmorangie unveiled the third release within the brand’s Cadboll Estate series. True to the form of the grain-to-glass series, it was aged for 15 years and showcased barley from eight fields on the site near the distillery.

The brand claimed a “small portion” of the final spirit was finished in Amontillado sherry casks. Amontillado sherry happens to be the favorite type of sherry of Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr. Bill Lumsden.
