Willett Distillery and California-based Wolves Whiskey announced on Friday that they’ve teamed up to release a limited-edition 10-year rye whiskey, combining Kentucky heritage with West Coast innovation. Bottled at 103 proof and priced at $355, the release is available now at wolveswhiskeyca.com while supplies last.

This marks the third collaboration between the brands and the first with an age statement. Willett selected 10-year-old Kentucky rye barrels, while Wolves contributed Indiana rye aged for seven years in Indiana and finished for three years in Northern California.

“Partnering with Willett on this release has been an honor,” Wolves Whiskey President Jennifer Marks said in a news release. “This rare blend reflects our shared dedication to craftsmanship and bridges two distinct whiskey traditions, combining Willett’s storied Kentucky legacy with Wolves’ modern California perspective.”

The bottle design includes Willett’s bird and crown emblem, a nod to the long history of the distillery, which was founded in 1936. Willett remains family-owned after more than 80 years and continues to produce whiskeys using mashbills developed by founder Thompson Willett and his grandson, Drew Kulsveen.

Wolves, founded in 2015 by James Bond (UNDEFEATED) and Jon Buscemi (Buscemi, Truff), is known for its American single malt releases and luxury positioning in the whiskey space.

This 10-year rye is the latest example of cross-regional collaboration in American whiskey, combining traditional production methods with modern branding.
