WhistlePig’s Golden Pig-Shaped Bottle of Rye Whiskey Is Back Just in Time for the Holidays

WhistlePig Whiskey’s 10-Year PiggyBank Rye Whiskey is slated to release for the third consecutive year this coming Monday, WhistlePig informed The Daily Pour.

Bottled at 110 proof, the whiskey is always great (find our review of last year’s here), but this release stands out not for the liquid but for the pig-shaped decanter that holds it. This year, the decanter is back in the gold color that debuted last year. The release, which pours from the rear, is described by WhistlePig as “combining WhistlePig’s serious craftsmanship with its signature sense of humor.”

Available for a limited time this holiday season, WhistlePig 10-Year PiggyBank Rye can be purchased via WhistlePig’s website, where it retails for $299.99 per 1-liter decanter, or from select retailers.

The 2025 drop of PiggyBank follows closely on the heels of WhistlePig’s annual release of Boss Hog, the $600 crown jewel in the brand’s profile. We reviewed 2025’s Boss Hog, which is finished in pulque- and xocolatl-inspired barrels seasoned with pulque curado that WhistlePig made from agave, cacao and a blend of Mexican chiltepín, guajillo and pasilla peppers. It just might be the best Boss Hog ever. Click here to read our review.
