Suntory Global Spirit’s Overholt whiskey brand announced on Monday that the whiskey was entering the workwear fashion space with a chore coat. The chore coat was made in collaboration with SEEKER, a Los Angeles clothing brand that originated in 2016.

Made with bartenders in mind, the coat has a “subtle customization” that honors Overholt’s founder, Abe Overholt. The coat retails for $229 and can be purchased here.

Seeker recommends the wearer dons the coat while enjoying a glass of Overholt Rye Whiskey, and the clothing company claims Overholt is the “longest-standing American whiskey brand maintained continuously since 1810.”

“Since inception, Overholt has forged forward through every era, including being one of the only spirits brands to survive prohibition,” Seeker wrote on its website. “Freddie Noe, 8th Generation Master Distiller at The James B. Beam Distilling Co., champions this legacy, propelling the brand forward through the rebirth of this whiskey’s iconic liquid, serving as the inspiration for this exclusive Overholt Chore Coat.”

In April, Overholt released A. Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey, which was distilled from the antique mashbill Abraham Overhault used in 1810. The ratio consisted of a mixture of 80% rye and 20% soft malted barley. It was meant to mimic whiskey sipped in the 1800s and has a suggested retail price of $40, with an ABV of 47.5%.

“With over 200 years of exceptional craftsmanship, Overholt is engrained in American history with its industrial roots and as a spirit that has set the industry standard since inception,” Freddie Noe commented in a news release. “The newest launch of A. Overholt is the result of highly crafted whiskey, informed and inspired by generational expertise, and I’m honored to steward this brand forward while paying homage to its past and our shared commitment to American whiskey innovation.”
