First T8ke: Unboxing and Tasting the New Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Rye (Plus 2023 Cask Strength Bourbon)

In the latest video on the Whiskey Raiders YouTube channel, Chief Spirits Critic Jay West unboxes and tastes the new Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Rye and the 2023 edition of the annually released Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon.

Released in October, these are the first whiskeys under Angel’s Envy’s new master distiller, Owen Martin.

Angel’s Envy 2023 Cask Strength Rye Finished in Sauternes and Toasted Oak Barrels is bottled at 114.4 proof and has a suggested retail price of $269.99, while Angel’s Envy 2023 Cask Strength Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels hosts a proof of 118.2 and a suggested retail price of $229.99.
