The Irish Star reported on Monday that Michael Flatley of “Riverdance” and “Lord of the Dance” is getting into the celebrity spirits game with the launch of Flatley Irish Whiskey. The dance star proposed the label to the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for Flatley Irish Whiskey, The Dreamer. The label was approved on March 20, according to the outlet.

The proposed brand label claims the Irish expression will be a 5-year-old whiskey aged in three types of casks: ex-bourbon, port and Pedro Ximenez sherry. The text on the mock-up label reads the following:

“This exquisite blend is a tribute to the undaunted dreamers who shape the world. Savor the spirit of ambition and the warmth of achieving the extraordinary. May each sip inspire your path to greatness. Sip boldly, savor deeply.”

Flatley teased the label on his Instagram account with a blurred-out photo of the whiskey captioned “Shh, something exciting coming very soon.” Users expressed approval in the comments section.

“A fine dram with a spring in its step,” a user commented.

Flatley is not the only celebrity with an Irish whiskey. Jean-Claude Van Damme, the martial artist and actor known as the “Muscles from Brussels” introduced Old Oak Whiskey.

The actor discovered Old Oak through word of mouth when he was searching for a partner and ended up choosing an Irish brand because he wanted to “go back to the roots of whiskey.”

Perhaps no other celebrity Irish whiskey is more ubiquitous than Conor McGregor’s Proper No Twelve Irish Whiskey, which is currently the focus of a massive legal battle between the MMA star and his former friend and business partner, Artem Lobov. Lobov claims that Proper No. Twelve was actually his idea.

McGregor was ordered to disclose profits from the whiskey deal in January, which was reported at the time of the sale as being around $130 million.

The case is set to go to trial.
