Peanut butter whiskey brand Skrewball announced a cheeky new collaboration with the rapper Yung Gravy rolling out just in time for Turkey Day on Thursday. The rapper and flavored whiskey brand are encouraging Americans to “Give Thanks and Get Basted” with a Skrewball Baster Set from the brand.
“Skrewball and Gravy together just made sense from the jump,” Yung Gravy said in a statement. “We’re both sweet, smooth and know how to start the party ;). This Thanksgiving, I wanted to take family time to the next level. All you need is a turkey baster, a gravy boat and some Skrewball. Let’s all ‘Give Thanks and Get Basted’ this Thanksgiving with Gravy and Skrewball!”
The set includes seven shot basters, a wooden baster holder and a “gravy boat” meant for doing shots of Skrewball. The kit costs $11.28, a price that was chosen with Thanksgiving in mind.
The peanut butter whiskey brand is donating all the proceeds from each set to the Southern Smoke Foundation. The Southern Smoke Foundation is an organization dedicated to assisting hospitality workers, including farmers, servers, sommeliers and bartenders working in the hospitality industry.
The organization offers funds to combat hardships that hospitality professionals face and additionally helps with mental health needs. Southern Smoke assists in rendering aid to those who experience emergency injuries that might occur on the job. The organization helps provide funding so hospitality workers can pay for their medications and offers disaster relief funds as well.
This wouldn’t be Skrewball’s first collaboration with a musician. In April, the peanut butter whiskey brand tapped NSYNC’s Joey Fatone to “Skrew The Usual” for horse racing season. As part of the collaboration, Skrewball released a commemorative hat for Derby Day, complete with two mini shooters of Skrewball.
The peanut butter whiskey brand additionally released horse racing-inspired cocktails, including a mule and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned.
