‘Effed by the Ref?’ Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and Former NFL Running Back Mark Ingram Propose a Solution

Football fans will find themselves partial to Fireball Cinnamon Whisky’s new “effed by the ref” challenge flag, accompanied by a video starring former NFL running back Mark Ingram. On Thursday, the brand announced the release of a throwable red challenge flag that football fans everywhere can throw down whenever they disagree with the referee — before taking a shot of Fireball, of course.

For the price of $1 while supplies last, Fireball is offering fans the opportunity to purchase this red challenge flag online through Feb. 11.

The brand tapped Ingram to film a promotional video, which was posted to the brand’s and football player’s Instagram pages.

In the video, Ingram shares his experiences of being effed by the ref “numerous amounts of times” in his career.

He shares that he couldn’t say anything without being fined during his career but now can “Fireball the call.” Ingram goes on to demonstrate how to Fireball the call. the hilarious video which can be viewed here.
