Fireball Cinnamon Whisky announced on Tuesday the brand is racing into Derby Day with its very own line of Hot Lid Hats. The pair of hats feature hidden compartments for stashing Fireball Cinnamon Whisky so fans of the flavored whisky brand can bring a little heat to the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.

“Fireball thrives by injecting fun where it otherwise has been missing, and famed events like a certain iconic upcoming horse race provide the perfect opportunity to bring that spirit to life,” Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Global Brand Director Danny Suich said in a statement. “For 149 years (give or take), people have worn the same outrageous hats and drank the same boring drinks… until now. With Hot Lids, Fireball lovers can embrace their rebellious side by setting fire to old traditions and enjoying their favorite cinnamon whisky at the track or at watch parties across the country.”

The Hot Lids will be available on the brand’s website on April 19 at 10 a.m. EST for $24.99 apiece.

Fireball’s “ridiculously oversized” top hat allows Derby attendees the ability to conceal a bottle of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.

The brand released two styles: a “ridiculously oversized” top hat that is large enough to cleverly conceal a 750-milliliter bottle of Fireball and a more “traditional” style that features flowers and feathers, plus a hidden compartment to store Fireball 50-milliliter shooters.

This year, the Kentucky Derby will be celebrating its 150th running, making it a pivotal moment for the historic race.

On April 9, Woodford Reserve unveiled a more serious release: a set of emerald and crystal-encrusted gold and silver derby cups as part of the brand’s annual mint julep cups for charity program. The cups feature a hefty price tag of $1,000 and $5,000 apiece.

Fireball’s latest release is joined by the brand bringing back its Small Batch Dragon Reserve, a whisky which was aged in premium charred oak. If you want to know what we thought about the release last time it landed, you can read our review here.
