Spirits Critic Tastes Found North Cask Strength Whisky Batch 008 for the 1st Time
In the latest video on the Whiskey Raiders YouTube channel, Chief Spirits Critic Jay West, aka T8ke, is tasting the latest batch of Canadian whisky from Found North.
Bottled at cask strength, Found North Batch 008 is a blend of whisky between 18 and 26 years old aged in Madeira, new American, ex-bourbon and Hungarian oak barrels. The final mashbill of this blended whisky is 87% corn, 12% rye and 1% malted barley.
Found North is making spectacular whisky and truly transforming what has historically been somewhat of a bleak Canadian whisky scene. This latest batch is a great one.
