Knob Creek announced in early March that the brand would be collaborating on a limited release with the rapper, LL Cool J’s lifestyle brand, Rock The Bells

The bourbon brand collaborated with Rock The Bells to release a single-barrel bourbon.

A series of bottle signing events featuring an appearance from the iconic rapper Raekwon, a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, took place March 2 in New York.

Raekwon made appearances at retailers in New York including Liquor Wine Warehouse, Wine & Liquor Superstore and PJ Wine. The rap legend met with fans. Hip-hop and bourbon aficionados alike had the opportunity to pick up signed bottles.

Knob Creek claimed that through the partnership with Rock The Bells, both brands were “bridging the worlds of music and whiskey” and providing a “unique sensory experience.”

Raekwon is not the only member of the Wu-Tang Clan getting involved in the whisk(e)y business; RZA partnered with Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky and debuted a limited-release scotch in early March.

Rock The Bells was founded by LL Cool J in 2018 and is a lifestyle and media company that focuses on honoring and elevating hip-hop culture.

The company promotes a hip-hop music festival that tours globally, in addition to selling merchandise and reporting on hip-hop-related news.

In November, Knob Creek teamed up with another rapper, Jack Harlow. The artist and brand released a bottle with a suggested retail price of $59.99 available only in the cities where Harlow was performing for his “No Place Like Home” tour.
