On Thursday, the James B. Beam Company announced the second release of Jim Beam Lineage, a 15-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon crafted by Beam’s father-son master distiller duo: Fred and Freddie Noe.
With a suggested retail price of $250 per 700-milliliter bottle. Lineage will be exclusively available to purchase at The James B. Beam Distilling Co. campus in Clermont, Kentucky. Lineage is the first bourbon from the Jim Beam portfolio to feature Freddie’s name on the bottle, making it a true collectible for Beam enthusiasts.
Lineage Batch #2 was bottled at 111 proof after being aged for 15 years in new charred white oak barrels at the Booker Noe Plant.
According to Beam, Fred and Freddie worked together to select Lineage. “This rare whiskey marks the peak of one generation’s achievement and the next generation coming-of-age,” Beam wrote in an emailed statement.
