The Indiana Fever are getting their very own limited-edition whiskey helmed by the Cedar Ridge Distillery.

On Wednesday, the Midwest mainstays joined forces for a straight bourbon release commemorating the WNBA team. Distilled from a mashbill of 74% corn, 14% rye and 12% malted barley, the whiskey is bottled at 90 proof and is slated to hit shelves across Indiana beginning next month. No word yet on its price, though visitors to the Cedar Ridge headquarters in Swisher, Iowa, will be able to pick up bottles beginning this Friday.

Founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Jeff and Laurie Quint, Cedar Ridge was the first legal, licensed distillery in its home state since Prohibition. The distiller now produces the best-selling brand of bourbon in Iowa, regularly beating out competitors like Jim Beam and Maker’s Mark. That’s no small feat in a state famous for producing the most corn nationwide.

The brand also produces a line of American single malt whiskeys, alongside vodka, fruit brandy, rum and over a dozen wines.

“At Cedar Ridge, we’ve always believed that great things come from deep roots and hard work. Watching the Indiana Fever captivate the sports world with that exact same Midwestern grit has been inspiring,” Jamie Siefken, president of Cedar Ridge Distillery, remarked in a news release. “Partnering with such a dynamic organization allows us to celebrate a shared dedication to our respective crafts, offering Fever fans a premium, homegrown bourbon to toast to every victory.”

Terry Tiernon, Pacers Sports & Entertainment senior vice president of corporate partnerships, says that the whiskey is a celebration of Midwest excellence.

“This partnership brings together two brands that embody the hardworking spirit of the Midwest,” Tiernon added. “The limited-edition bourbon gives our fans another opportunity to connect with the team while supporting a regional brand that shares our commitment to high quality and excellence.”

Although the two states are both in the Midwest, some may be surprised to see Indiana’s WNBA team get a bourbon from Iowa — especially since Indiana has plenty of distilleries of its own, from the craft darling Hard Truth to the powerhouse MGP. Perhaps the connection between Cedar Ridge and the Fever has something to do with star guard Caitlin Clark, who was born in Des Moines and gained fame during her iconic career at the University of Iowa.
