Heaven Hill’s Spring 2024 Release of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-In-Bond Bourbon Honors ‘Premium Quality’ and ‘Craftsmanship’

Heaven Hill announced on Wednesday the spring release of the brand’s beloved Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Series. The bourbon is 10 years old, hosts a suggested retail price of $139.99 and clocks in at 100 proof.
The latest release was pulled from barrels made in Spring 2014 and marks the thirteenth release of the biannual series.
“Heaven Hill’s stewardship of the Old Fitzgerald brand over the past quarter century has honored the legacy of John E. Fitzgerald,” Heaven Hill Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll expressed in a statement from the brand. “The Spring release showcases the premium quality and craftsmanship of Old Fitzgerald which has been cherished by fans, not just for decades, but for generations.”
The brand’s beautifully distinctive decanters are part of Old Fitzgerald’s claim to fame. Each Spring edition is marked with a green label. For the bottled-in-bond releases, a tax strip is featured on the label, sharing when it was distilled and bottled.
Heaven Hill expressed this release meets all the requirements of a bottled-in-bond bourbon, and is the product of one distillery during one distilling season, aged for a minimum amount of four years and bottled at 100 proof or a 50% ABV.
Old Fitzgerald bottled-in-bond releases grace the shelves twice a year, in both the Spring and Fall. In November, Heaven Hill dropped its Fall 2023 bottled-in-bond release housed in the distinctive decanter with a black label, and this bourbon was eight years old.
This year marked a pivotal time for the Old Fitzgerald label, and the brand released a 25th Anniversary Bottled-in-Bond bourbon that hosted a 13-year age statement in April. The bourbon’s release served as a historic nod to the moment when Heaven Hill purchased the Bernheim Distillery after another one of its facilities caught fire in 1996.
