Heaven Hill Unveils 2025 Grain to Glass Bourbon, Announces Program to Support US Farms

Heaven Hill Distillery on Tuesday unveiled the second edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, made from a unique corn varietal grown in Central Kentucky and aged for six years.
The 2025 release is bottled at 105 proof and features a mashbill of 52% corn, 35% rye and 13% malted barley. Unlike Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon recipe, this one leans heavier on rye, giving it a spicier flavor profile. The corn used, varietal Beck’s 6225, was grown by Peterson Farms, a family-run operation in Nelson County.
The bourbon is non-chill filtered and aged at Heaven Hill’s Cox’s Creek rickhouse. Like the 2024 edition, it’s part of Heaven Hill’s push for more transparency and traceability in its whiskey-making process.
“In 2017, we embarked on a journey to create a one-of-a-kind Grain to Glass Whiskey by partnering with family-owned seed companies and farms,” Heaven Hill Brands Executive Chairman Max Shapira said in a news release. “These innovative mash bills feature hand-selected, unique grain varieties grown locally by Kentucky family farms. Heaven Hill Grain to Glass is a testament to the important legacy of family farmers, who are the lifeblood of our country.”
Along with the Heaven Hill Grain to Glass release, the distillery announced an initiative called Family Farms First. The program commits up to $300,000 in donations through 2028 to support U.S. family farms. The company is partnering with Farm Rescue, a nonprofit that helps farmers and ranchers facing unexpected hardship.
A portion of every bottle sold — up to $100,000 per year — will be donated to Farm Rescue.
“Farm Rescue’s mission is to keep family farms intact during times of crises,” Farm Rescue Founder and President Bill Gross said in a news release. “Family farms, which make up 97% of U.S. farms, are vital to sustaining our communities and our future. Our collaboration with Heaven Hill Grain to Glass will bolster our ability to provide essential support to more farm families, ensuring they can continue their operations and sustain their livelihoods.”
The effort comes as Heaven Hill approaches its 90th anniversary this December. The distillery remains family-owned and has more than 2 million barrels of whiskey aging across nearly 70 warehouses in Kentucky’s Nelson and Jefferson counties.
Heaven Hill first released its Grain To Glass series last year, debuting with a bourbon, wheated bourbon and rye whiskey.
