In response to the devastating floods that have claimed more than 100 lives across the Texas Hill Country, Garrison Brothers Distillery announced a major change to its upcoming Guadalupe bourbon release event: The distillery will now use the July 12 release of its 2025 Guadalupe Cask Strength bottles to raise funds for flood relief efforts across the region.
The campaign, titled Hill Country Strong: 2025 Flood Relief Fund, will channel proceeds from bottle sales, food and merchandise directly to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
“Since July 4, we have been developing a plan to help the first responders, businesses, and families who have been affected,” the distillery said in a statement. “If you can help, we’d welcome the assistance.”
Starting at 8 a.m. on July 12, Garrison Brothers will sell special bottles of Guadalupe Cask Strength bourbon at the distillery. For every bottle sold, $50 will be donated to the fund, with the distillery pledging to match the first $10,000 raised.
In addition, 100% of profits from food and drink sales at the on-site WhiskeyShack, as well as all gift shop purchases, will go toward the relief effort. Collection buckets will be available around the property.
The event was originally planned as a celebration of the 2025 Guadalupe release, a port-cask-finished straight bourbon whiskey. The limited-edition Cask Strength version, bottled at up to 129.8 proof, was also set to benefit Gulf Trust conservation efforts. That donation campaign remains in place, but flood relief is now the central focus of the day.
“Everyone in Texas — and even beyond — has been affected in some way by the recent flooding,” the distillery said. “We’ve received dozens of offers of assistance from great people. Thank you.”
Those unable to attend the July 12 event can contribute directly through the distillery’s online fundraising platform, accessible here.
