In the latest video on the Whiskey Raiders YouTube channel, Chief Spirits Critic Jay West, aka T8ke, tastes the latest expression from Barrell Craft Spirits: Barrell Foundation Bourbon.
Released in October, Barrell Foundation Bourbon is Barrell Craft Spirits’ first whiskey in the sub-premium category. It’s bottled at 100 proof — Barrell’s first release below cask strength — and comes with BCS’s lowest suggested retail price yet. In the video, West tastes the whiskey and gives his opinion on what this different direction means for Barrell Craft Spirits.
