‘The Best Names in Golf With the Best Name in Bourbon’: Elijah Craig Returns to Pebble Beach For PGA Tour

Elijah Craig returns to the golf course as the official bourbon of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Heaven Hill announced on Jan. 30. that Elijah Craig Bourbon would return to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as the official bourbon partner of the event, which ran Feb. 1-4. The tournament had an Elijah Craig Bourbon Speakeasy, where attendees enjoyed the wildly popular bourbon in handcrafted cocktails, such as an Elijah Craig Signature Old Fashioned.
“Team Elijah Craig embodies the striver mindset of those endeavoring to achieve greatness and master their craft whether that is in the boardroom or the golf course,” Elijah Craig Group Product Director Max Stefka said in a statement. “Players participating in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Tournament are the best in their field and we look forward to celebrating their greatness at this PGA TOUR signature event.”
Elijah Craig released its first barrel-proof bourbon of the year in January, and the expression hosts a distinctively lower proof than the last Elijah Craig of 2023. Elijah Craig Barrel Proof A124 was bottled at 119 proof, and it was well received at Whiskey Raiders. We’ve filmed a video of our first impressions, which can be viewed below. You can also read our review of the bourbon here.
According to Heaven Hill, golf enthusiasts are twice as likely to drink bourbon, which explains this choice in partnership. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is hosted by the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, which donated nearly $18 million to nonprofits in Monterrey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties, Heaven Hill claims. Elijah Craig is also named the Official Bourbon of the PGA America, Women’s KPMG PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and the PGA Championship.
“We’re thrilled Elijah Craig is returning to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM,” Monterey Peninsula Foundation CEO and Tournament Director Steve John said in a statement. “Fans and spectators will once again be able to enjoy watching the best names in golf with the best names in bourbon. We’re grateful for the Elijah Craig partnership and will cheers to another successful year together this week at venues throughout the course.”
