On Wednesday, Elijah Craig announced the release of a 15-year-old single barrel bourbon, expanding its lineup with a higher-proof, extended-age expression now rolling out nationwide.

The new Elijah Craig 15-Year-Old Bourbon is bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV) and is available in 750-milliliter bottles with a suggested retail price of $149.99. It joins the brand’s single barrel range as its oldest age-stated expression in that lineup.

According to the brand, the whiskey opens with aromas of dark fruit, figs and rose. On the palate, it shows roasted nuts, toasted oak and caramelized sugar, followed by a finish described as crème brûlée with ginger and clove. The profile is positioned as full-bodied, with a balance of sweetness and spice typical of extended aging.

“This release reflects the craftsmanship and tradition that has defined Elijah Craig for generations,” Heaven Hill Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll said in a news release. “We were looking for exceptional depth and character in our first 15-Year-Old Single Barrel Bourbon, and it delivers at a proof that enhances its natural complexity. The result is a bold yet refined whiskey that is approachable enough to be an all-evening sipper.”

Elijah Craig is produced by Heaven Hill Distillery, one of the largest independent, family-owned spirits companies in the U.S. The brand is widely distributed and known for age-stated releases across its core and limited portfolios.

The 15-year expression begins shipping this month, with national availability expected across major retail channels.
