The Detroit Lions announced on Thursday that in addition to getting spiffy new black uniforms, the NFL team will be launching a new booze line that consists of bourbon and vodka. The line is named after the one quality the football team has demonstrated over multiple seasons: grit.

Grit City Bourbon and Vodka are limited-edition spirits that the team made with the spirits brand BOTLD. The bottles boast the Detroit Lions’ logo, complete with the slogan “Made for Motor City.”

“It’s exciting to launch Grit City Spirits as it commemorates Lions history, Detroit pride and creates a unique touchpoint for fans as we welcome the return of the black uniform, now called ‘Motor City Muscle,'” Detroit Lions Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Mace Aluia said according to a news release. “From our fan’s personal Den to any given tailgate, the inaugural release of these spirits will mark a special time in franchise history.”

The spirits are currently distributed by Imperial Beverage and available in Michigan shops. The vodka hosts a suggested retail price of $29.99, while the bourbon features a price of $39.99. Both are stored in 750-milliliter bottles.

Grit City Bourbn clocks in at 86 proof, and the Lions say it possesses flavors of “corn, rye and a hint of malted barley” — which is really just the mashbill listed as tasting notes. The 80-proof vodka is gluten-free, according to the brand. It is described as possessing a smooth and sweet taste with corn and pepper.

The spirits company behind the release, BOTLD, is no stranger to partnering with NFL teams. In October, BOTLD joined forces with the Philadelphia Eagles to create Bird Gang Spirits. Both core expressions that launched were coincidentally bourbon and vodka. The craft spirits company is based out of Pennsylvania, and partners with a variety of different distillers.

“BOTLD is proud to work with the Detroit Lions to produce Grit City Spirits, helping provide an additional way to engage with fans and celebrate a storied, American city,” BOTLD founder Andrew Auwerda said in a statement. “We’re grateful for the partnership with our Michigan distributor — the family-owned and operated Imperial Beverage — to help keep local retailers well-stocked.”
