Each December for the past 60, the residents of Breckenridge, Colorado have gathered for Ullr Fest, which celebrates Ullr, the Norse god of snow, and the more than 300 inches of snowfall the town gets each year.

This year, Breckenridge Distillery is celebrating with a highly limited bourbon: Breckenridge Ullr Blend. Bottled at 86 proof, the blended whiskey will be available starting 11 a.m. Thursday exclusively at Breckenridge’s Main Street Tasting Room. Only 100 bottles will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Each December at Ullr Fest, Breckenridge Distillery hosts a massive shot ski, in which festival-goers simultaneously drink shots of Breckenridge Bourbon together from glasses attached to a ski. At last year’s Ullr Fest, the shot ski had a record-breaking 1,350 participants from a total of 468 skis measuring 2,401 feet in length.

In October, the Park City Rotary broke Breckenridge’s record with a 1,363-person shot ski. At this year’s Ullr Fest, Breckenridge will look to reclaim the record.

In August, Breckenridge released its latest annual bourbons in partnership with the Denver Broncos.

In June, Breckenridge debuted the third release in its Collectors Art Series, a blend of 4- to 6-year-old bourbons finished in casks that previously held 20-year-old PX sherry in which bitter Seville orange peels were macerated.
