The Atlanta Braves Get Their Very Own Bourbon Just in Time for Opening Day, Courtest of Coors’ Blue Run Spirits

Blue Run Spirits is releasing a limited-edition bourbon in partnership with the Atlanta Braves to mark the 60th anniversary of the franchise in Atlanta and the start of the 2026 baseball season. The commemorative Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon will debut on Opening Day at Truist Park on Friday, March 27.
The bourbon features Blue Run’s signature French-cut glass bottle, metal accents, a hand-applied Atlanta Braves viceroy butterfly, and a custom Braves neck label and tax strip. The whiskey itself is a Kentucky Straight High Rye Bourbon, bottled at 111 proof. It has received Platinum and Gold awards from the ASCOT Awards, TAG Global Spirits Awards, and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
“Opening Day is essentially the first pour of a new season,” Blue Run Spirits General Manager Katy McBrady said in a news release. “Much like a fine bourbon, baseball is a game defined by patience and precision, where the layers of tradition are what truly create a masterpiece. We are thrilled that our first retail collaboration with a Major League Baseball team is with such an iconic franchise as the Atlanta Braves and are proud to offer fans a premium way to toast the start of the 2026 season.”
The bottles are now available at select fine spirits retailers across Georgia for $79.99. Retailers will receive specialized point-of-sale materials to promote the release.
“This commemorative whiskey captures the hope and anticipation of Opening Day, while blending the rich traditions of both baseball and fine whiskey,” said Jim Allen, Atlanta Braves senior vice president of corporate and premium partnerships. “This limited-edition bottle is more than just a drink; it’s a collector’s item, a symbol of our shared excitement, and the perfect way for fans to celebrate the start of another thrilling Braves season.”
Blue Run Spirits was founded in 2020 in Georgetown, Kentucky, and was acquired by Molson Coors in 2023. The brand has earned Platinum and Gold recognitions at the ASCOT, TAG Global, and San Francisco World Spirits Competitions. The Atlanta Braves have been based in Atlanta since 1966 and are the longest continuously operating franchise in Major League Baseball.
