Did it hurt? When you fell from Heaven? Angel’s Envy might be asking similar questions this Valentine’s Day, as the brand announced on Tuesday its entry to the greeting card space.

Through Feb. 6, fans of the brand can claim their complimentary personalized watercolor Valentine’s Day card made by the artist Kristen Baker for a limited time. Each card will be handmade by Baker.

Interested parties can submit their information and upload the image of their choice here. Everyone whose orders are accepted will receive an email confirmation that their order is in the works. The first 200 cards will be created on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Angel’s Envy is a brand known for bringing secondary finishing to the forefront of bourbon in the U.S.,” Angel’s Envy Marketing Director Andrew Mondezelewski said in a news release. “To that end, a personalized greeting card makes for a perfect finishing touch when paired with a bottle of Angel’s Envy for our fans to celebrate their loved one this Valentine’s Day.”

The Kentucky-based brand is bringing some of the romance to New York City this Valentine’s Day, and individuals who find themselves in the Big Apple will also have a chance to get their hands on a custom card at participating bars and retail shops.

Additionally, a poet from The Poetry Society of New York will be on-site at the locations, with a vintage typewriter to compose a love poem for those interested in participating — a truly special Valentine’s gift.

Kristen Baker is a New York artist who specializes in designing wedding stationery, calligraphy and watercolors.

In October, Angel’s Envy unveiled the first two releases under its new master distiller, Owen Martin.

The brand made a name for itself in using secondary finishing processes across its range of expressions, and Martin’s releases were true to form. The first was the 2023 Cask Strength Rye Finished in Sauternes and Toasted Oak Barrels, and the second was the Cask Strength Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels.
