Up-and-Coming Whiskey Brand 15 STARS Just Dropped 2 New Well-Aged Expressions

15 STARS announced on Wednesday the release of two whiskeys: Three Kings Fine Aged Whiskey and 13 Years Old Timeless Reserve Fine Aged Bourbon. The Timeless Reserve expression possesses an updated blend that sets it apart from the original. It now hosts 13- and 15-year-old bourbons, and the 103-proof whiskey has a suggested retail price of $279.
“Timeless Reserve was our debut expression when 15 STARS was first available on the shelves,” 15 STARS co-founder Ricky Johnson in a news release. “It has remained a favorite of ours over the last couple of years and we are so excited for this opportunity to revisit the expression with this updated age statement.”
15 Stars Three Kings Fine Aged Whiskey blends wheat, rye and bourbon between the ages of 11 and 15 years, and the 15 STARS team shared their thoughts on what it believed to be a groundbreaking blended whiskey. 15 STARS Three Kings Fine Aged Whiskey hosts a suggested retail price of $179 and a proof of 107.
“We believe with the release of Three Kings that this is the first time someone has ever crafted a blend like this — balancing these three whiskeys, wheat, rye and bourbon together,” Johnson expressed. “The Three Kings expression truly exemplifies what we strive to accomplish as a brand — always innovating and thinking out of the box to create the very best tasting whiskey we can for enthusiasts across the country.”
The upstart whiskey brand is run by father-and-son blenders, Rick and Ricky Johnson. The brand launched in 2022 and has seen no shortage of critical acclaim. Releases like 15 STARS Fine Aged Bourbon Private Stock 8 and 15 Years have received high scores at Bottle Raiders, and the 15 STARS Sherry Cask Finish won a Double Gold at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
